The Selecon Acclaim Fresnel is an efficient, easy to use luminaire. The well controlled beam has a soft edge and is adjustable from a narrow spot of 6 degrees to a medium flood of 60 degrees. Beam adjustment is achieved by loosening the focus knob and sliding the lamp and reflector in relation to the fixed fresnel lens. The "posi-slide" focusing mechanism minimises any vibration of the lamp. Access for relamping is via a swing down bottom that is fitted with a cut-out switch for safety. The beam shape can be controlled using the four-leaf rotatable barn door accessory. The Acclaim Fresnel is built tough to last using aluminium extrusion and moulded engineering plastics. Not only is the Acclaim Fresnel robust, it is also reliable and safe to use. The Acclaim fresnel is ideal for smaller theatres, school halls, drama studios and display lighting. |

The yoke balance point (left) is moveable along the full length of the luminaire so that you can compensate for the weight of accessories, such as colour scrollers, that may be mounted on the front of the luminaire. The heat insulated rear grab handles (right) also serve as convenient cord storage when the luminaire is not in use. |

The bottom of the lamphouse (left) swings down to provide access to the lamp for relamping and maintenance. A safety switch disconnects the power as soon as the bottom is opened. Lamp life is enhanced by the use of teflon coated bearings in the focusing mechanism (right) to ensure the lamp tray slides easily and smoothly when focusing the luminaire. |
